How to get “Following Fish”

The most obvious method, you would think, is to go into the nearest bookstore, ask politely at the help desk for Following Fish, and be directed to the “New Releases” or (hopefully, one day) “Bestsellers” section. However, this is not always how it works on the ground. Book distribution in India is a sketchy business, so that nearest bookstore may (a) say the book is out of stock, (b) never have heard of the book, (c) have shelved Following Fish under “Management and Accounting,” (d) all of the above.

This is assuming they ever got stocks of the book in the first place.

Fortunately, the Internet. Buyers in India and the United States can order the book online and expect, quite reliably, to receive it at their doorstep. Here’s how:

In India: From IndiaPlaza or Flipkart or eBay or India Book Mart. We’re also working on getting it into the Landmark bookstore online, so watch this space if you’re a Landmark devotee.

In the United States: From IndiaPlaza only at the moment. (Before you ask, it isn’t on Amazon.com.) and apparently as of very recently, Amazon.com!

I’ll update this post if and when the book becomes available via other means — as a free gift with a Head & Shoulders shampoo sachet, for instance, or as inflight entertainment on a low-cost airline.
